How it works
Airport compatibility1
Sign in or create a Tailstrike account.
Sign up with email or your VATSIM account.

Lease any available Tailstrike aircraft.
Leasing gives you control of the aircraft.

Ensure that your chosen destination airport is compatible with your aircraft's size.
Fly to any current real life airport.

Load into your simulator at the aircraft's current airport.
Any gate, apron, or runway start is fine.

Connect to Tailstrike via the plugin or VATSIM.

Depart within 2 hours and land at any valid airport.
Your flight will automatically complete as soon as you land.
Rules
Simple rules to keep the network realistic and consistent.
- Depart the current airport within 2 hours of leasing
- Stay connected for the duration of the flight (plugin or VATSIM)
- No time acceleration
- Land at any airport compatible with your aircraft's size
